The Black Stars of Ghana trained at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Tuesday to prepare for their opening game of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Coach Akonnor trained with a full squad at the venue for the first time on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed and Great Olympics defender Samuel Ashie-Quaye were belatedly invited to the Black Stars team for World Cup qualifiers.
The pair were coached by Ghana’s trainer CK Akonnor called up because some players did not answer.
Winger Tariqe Fosu was released from the team for the games against Ethiopia and South Africa in order to clarify his club career.
