CM – Warriors’ Juan Toscano-Anderson enters the league’s concussion protocol

Juan Toscano-Anderson has to be cleared before his league return and could miss Monday's game in Philadelphia.

The Warriors striker Juan Toscano-Anderson was diagnosed with a concussion after a bad fall in their loss to the Boston Celtics on Saturday night and is included in the league’s concussion log.

In the middle of the fourth quarter, Toscano-Anderson dived for a loose ball and fell over the goalscorer table. He lay on the floor for a few minutes before going into the locker room on his own, where he received stitches for a cut on the top of his head. He needs to be cleared before returning from the league and could miss Monday’s game in Philadelphia.

« That’s him. He’s tough, » said Draymond Green. « When he goes over the scorers’ table, he sums up who he is and how he got here.

« This is a big loss for us, » continued Green. « He changed the game with its intensity. »

With center James Wiseman out of the season for a meniscus tear, Golden State relied on 6-foot-6 Toscano Anderson, who averaged 5.1 points, including 43, on 58.2% shooting , 9% from 3-point range, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 helps to play minutes in power forward and center. If 28-year-old Toscano-Anderson is forced to miss the time, Warriors Kevon Looney and Green must center on the forecourt.
