The Washington Football Team signed defenseman Bobby McCain for a one-year deal, his agent Drew Rosenhaus briefed Adam Schefter of ESPN.
McCain spent the first six years of his career with the Miami Dolphins but was cut last week after the team signed Jason McCourty.
He switched to safety in 2019 and started 15 games with strong certainty last season, recording 46 tackles and one interception.
McCain is entering secondary school Washington, led by security agencies Landon Collins and Kamren Curl, corners Kendall Fuller and William Jackson III, and Benjamin St-Juste, the third-round draft pick.
