CM – Yeppoon Vets Lodges plans to expand the clinic again

A Yeppoon Veterinary Clinic has submitted plans to expand its clinic with additional operating and treatment rooms, animal wards and an imaging room.

Acacia Veterinary Clinic at 40 Normanby Street, Yeppoon, submitted the plans earlier this month to Livingstone Shire Council.

The permit for a major change in the land use development was previously approved, but the permit has now expired and a new application was required.

The proposal included an extension of the existing building by an additional 109 m² for the GFA and more parking spaces at the rear of the site.

The extension is located in the rear of the house and includes a practice, treatment room, separate dog and cat stations, a back porch, areas for food preparation and an imaging room upstairs.

There would also be a laundry, bathroom and garden room on the ground floor.

According to the proposal, the expansion will allow the clinic to create a more usable and practical space, and the new facilities will become one for customers Provide adequate care.
