Barcelona: Amid the turmoil caused by the derailed Super League, Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is trying to keep his team on track for two big titles.

One of them is the Champions League, with Madrid in the first leg on Tuesday of the semi-finals against Chelsea.

Among the possible penalties for clubs like Madrid that have not yet rejected the Super League plan, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has warned of a possible future ban on UEFA European competitions. </ Ten of the 12 Super League clubs have since officially withdrawn from the controversial project, but Madrid President Florentino Pérez insists that the Super League is on "standby" despite the lack of broader support.

Madrid is fighting over the Spanish championship title and can at least contribute to his 13 European cups this season.

« I can only say that we will prepare for the semi-finals of the Champions League, » says e he.

The runner-up Madrid will receive an improved Real Betis on Saturday. Atlético Madrid are three points ahead of six rounds.

Barcelona are just two points behind Madrid in third place and Lionel Messi’s side have one more game to play than their two title rivals.

The game against Betis is the second Madrid has played since the storm caused by the Super League announcement last weekend.

Zidane said the T-shirts condemning the Super League presented him to the Cadiz players wore their game on Wednesday, didn’t bother. Madrid won 3-0.

Against Betis, Zidane had to do without central defender Sergio Ramos, full-back Ferland Mendy and midfielder Toni Kroos due to injury. Luka Modric and Eden Hazard are back in the squad after injury.

Betis, who was coached by former Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini, have moved up to sixth place in their last 10 games with just one loss.

Betis will have to do without striker Nabil Fekir, who is suspended for one game, and winger Cristián Tello will have to knock.

« The Super League edition has absolutely nothing to do with tomorrow’s game in the Spanish league Super League edition is over, « said Pellegrini. « They are battling Atlético for the lead in the Spanish league and they will play in the Champions League against Chelsea on Tuesday but I don’t think that will be a distraction for them when it comes to taking the three points on Saturday. «
