Prime Minister Boris Johnson has wished Gibraltar a happy National Day, reasserting that the Rock’s sovereignty is inviolable. This took place in Prime Minister’s Questions in the House of Commons, in response to a request from Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Gibraltar, Sir Bob Neill.
Sir Bob asked Mr Johnson to pledge his government’s support for Gibraltar, in its desire to be British and in all the practical issues in the challenges it jointly faces with the UK.
