Sheriff’s office: Shooting involving deputy reported in Rancho Cordova

A shooting involving a deputy was reported in Rancho Cordova on Saturday night, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened in the area of the 160 block of Dutchess Way around 7 p.m., officials said.
