Around 12:20 a.m. CT Thursday morning, Weather Channel reporter Stephanie Abrams nearly blew off viewers’ screens.

The concern poured in on social media for Abrams, who stood in Lake Charles, Louisiana, awaiting Hurricane Laura.

Abrams bent over after she lost her balance. She grabbed at her hat, and she managed to stay on her feet.

According to her Weather Channel bio, Abrams is a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorology Society. She holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Florida.
