Weltnachrichten – AU – Gang Crime Squad investigates the murder of former rebel boss Nick Martin at the Kwinana Motorplex

. . The incident happened at 8 a.m.. Saturday evening at 36 o'clock.

. .

WA Police prepare for revenge attacks by the Bikie gang after senior rebel member Nick Martin was fatally shot and two others, including an innocent five- year-old boy, was injured at the Perth Motorplex Saturday night.

The fatal shots occurred around 8 o’clock. 40pm on Kwinana Beach in front of hundreds of spectators, including young children.

Martin, 51, was taken to Rockingham Hospital but died of complications from his injuries. The other two victims were the five-year-old boy who was sitting on an adult’s lap and a 31-year-old rebel member who was both near Martin at the time.

The 31-year-old man was hospitalized for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his thigh and forearm, while the young man, who had sustained superficial injuries, was now at his parents’ home.

The five-year-old, who is not related to Martin or the 31-year-old, did not need any medical help.

Police Commissioner Chris Dawson said Sunday the community was rightly outraged by this type of violent criminal behavior that took place in front of a crowd of hundreds of innocent people.

« This is an example where innocent parties can become involved in a violent criminal gang that has resulted in murder, » he said.

« We must all be outraged by this violent criminal behavior, a five year old boy fortunately sustained superficial wounds, but these criminals don’t stop and consider human life. « .

« The fact that this shooting took place in a public place with many people, including children, shows the nature of these violent criminal gangs.

« There are many people who are completely innocent and are now exposed to the most terrible gang crimes. ”

Commissioner Dawson said Washington police are now preparing for possible retaliation among the banned motorcycle brotherhood.

« We are in an increased state of readiness to make sure there is no retaliation, but that is the nature of these gangs we are dealing with, » he said.

“We will tirelessly monitor the illegal motorcycle gangs, we have been for many years and will continue to do so. The police are conducting extensive investigations.

Homocide detectives are investigating the type of firearm and haven’t ruled out the possibility of a sniper.

Law enforcement agencies across the country are aware of the incident and will assist the WA police in their investigation.

Commissioner Dawson said he is aware that there is « friction and bad conditions » among all banned motorcycle gangs, particularly the rebels, after their criminal conduct has been closely monitored.

« We have had a long-standing operation against all banned motorcycle gangs. This is something we do nationally, but in WA we have made very big strides in bikie behavior through drug distribution, « he said.

« I have little doubt that there is a lot of friction among the gangs due to increased police activity, and we have confiscated a lot of money, drugs and firearms, but that is the nature of these bikie gangs. « . ”

Commissioner Dawson said while aware that there will be innocent parties to mourn the loss of a family member, Martin was a well-known bikie who had faced criminal charges and lost his status in the rebel club and survived an earlier shooting.

Prime Minister Mark McGowan said he was disgusted that this shameful incident occurred in front of innocent people and warned the perpetrators that they will be caught.

« It’s so extraordinary that people think they can do this and get away with it, get caught, get locked up, » he said.

“Children could have been killed, families could have been killed. This is an episode we don’t want to see repeated.

« Those bikie gangs, and some of the people who think they can get away with it, aren’t. Our prisons are full of these people and it looks like there will be more in prison. « . ”

Recordings of other participants in the event show a large police presence with the Motorplex and ambulance officers who are looking after one of the victims. The Motorplex had held its Outlaw Nitro Challenge at the time.

A witness near the fence line said they heard one of the gunshots and saw it unfold in front of them.

The fatal shooting was not the first attempt in Martin’s life. He escaped death nine years ago after rival Rock Machine Bikie gang member Benjamin Sipkes shot the rebel president outside his Balcatta home.

Martin was shot in the arm while pulling his Harley-Davidson motorcycle into his driveway. Sipkes was convicted of the shooting in the Supreme Court but not found guilty of attempting to assassinate the rebel boss.

Martin’s death comes about two weeks after he was beaten up in a Scarborough bar, allegedly by Hell’s Angel boss Dayne Brajkovich.

CCTV shows the two of them greeting each other with a friendly handshake before a violent clash breaks out.

Martin was knocked to the ground before standing up. Brajkovich, a former muay thai boxer, was charged by the National Anti-Gangs Squad with « public fights that cause fear ». .

Martin was recently resigned as president of the club after he and his wife were investigated for alleged extortion and money laundering offenses.

In 2010, the Motorplex was the site of a bloody brawl between the Bikie gangs Coffin Cheaters and Finks.

During this altercation, three finches were hospitalized, including a man who was shot and another who had three fingers cut off.

Police eventually charged nine members and affiliates of Coffin Cheater with providing false and misleading evidence about the incident.
