The Miami Heat will wear their much-anticipated « Vice Versa » jerseys tomorrow when the team returns home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The fifth and final edition was announced in December with no debut date. The delivery is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.. m. on Jan. . 4 at the American Airlines Arena.
The organization has never been shy about holding back the excitement for the neon glow jerseys. No wonder they’ve gotten rid of the big guns on social media again. The Heat teased the debut by hiring Rick Ross to narrate a 90-second clip with star players like Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, Andre Iguodala, Avery Bradley and Udonis Haslem’s « Blinding Lights » plays.
« I know there are gifts for my family, it’s always the runner-up stuff, » Heat trainer Erik Spoelstra told reporters about Sun-Sentinel in South Florida. « You can’t get enough of this. It’s cool to walk around town and see the different variations of Vice gear. ”
Spoelstra called this year’s design the « best version » of the four Vice jerseys. According to LockerVision, The Heat will wear the slim uniforms 11 times and hopefully they will help shake a team that is staggered into a 2-3 start.
