A screaming woman was kicked to the ground when she attacked a police officer who was trying to end a heated argument.

Two women and a shirtless man quarreled on Sunday afternoon in the park on St.. Kilda Beach in Melbourne.

One woman was held by the man wrapped in a towel, while the other woman went straight to a police officer in Victoria.

As the screaming woman approached the policeman, he lifted his right leg and quickly kicked her stomach.

Sage Dre took the footage on her way to the beach and said the reason for the altercation was unclear.

« The couple had an argument at the beginning of the video and the guy was trying to calm his girlfriend down, » she explained.

‘She was going to start going to the cop and then this girl stomped past the cop and towards him and then he kicked her. ‘

A Victoria Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia that two women were reportedly drunk and molested other members of the public. ‘

« One of the girls threatened an officer and didn’t stop when he asked, » said the spokesman.

‘The act taken by the officer is considered appropriate in relation to the woman’s aggressive behavior.

‘The girls continued to act aggressively so the officer used OC foam to subdue them.

‘A 16 year old from Selby and a 16 year old from Marysville were arrested for drunkenness and released into the care of their parents. ‘
