Several Los Angeles Clippers employees are now in quarantine after at least one of them tested positive for COVID-19 after the team’s matchup on Friday’s Utah Jazz.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the positive test was traced back to a New Year’s Eve for employees in Salt Lake City.
The seven employees in question did not travel with the team to Phoenix to compete against the suns on Sunday. According to the report, there are no players, coaches or team leaders in the group.
The Clippers hit Jazz 106-100 on Friday night, marking the first of a quick weekend two-game road trip.
It is not clear when the employee tested positive for the coronavirus.
