More than 64. 800 Victorian students will receive their Victorian Education Certificate (VCE) or Victorian Applied Learning Certificate (VCAL) results starting at 7 a.m. today after an unprecedented year for undergraduate students.

Acting Education Secretary Gayle Tierney admitted that this had been an exceptional year for Victorian students, showing commitment and resilience to the pandemic as they alternated between on-site and remote and flexible learning.

This year turns 50. 284 students graduate with their VCE, which equates to an increased graduation rate of 98. 3% of the students. A record 14. 529 students will receive their VCAL in 2020.

The publication of VCE and VCAL results by VCAA and ATARs by VCAT ensures that 12th grade students. Victorian class can plan their next move, whether it is training or employment.

This timing enables VCE students to receive their results, access course and career advice, and adjust their preferences if necessary before the first round of Victorian colleges offering.

Each student was assessed individually using the « Consideration of Educational Disadvantages » process to calculate the VCE values. This ensured that the adverse effects of the pandemic or bushfires were mitigated in order to produce fair, valid, and accurate results that form the basis of a student’s ATAR ranking.

Minister Tierney reminded students that their results do not define them and that there are many ways and pathways for graduates to achieve their goals.

VCE students have until the 4th. January 2021 until 12 p.m. to change your preferences via your VTAC account before. January 2020 first round offers will be published by Victorian colleges.
