Do it five in a row for heavyweight competitor Martin Bakole (16-1, 12 KOs). The once-beaten British residence had a relatively tough time against Sergey Kuzmin (15-2, 12 KOs).
In the early years, everything was Bakole as Kuzmin seemed content with sitting back and getting slapped in the face. After sitting back for a few laps, Kuzmin apparently woke up and took control of the middle laps. However, his success was small as Bakole did just enough to win the final rounds.
At the end of ten rounds, the judges gave their following scorecards: 98-92, 97-93 and 96-94, all in favor of Bakole.
