BRUGGE star Emmanuel Dennis will miss a Champions League game tonight because he could not sit in his favorite seat on the team bus. .
The 23-year-old striker will not play against Borussia Dortmund and could be fined by his club, it is said in Belgium.
The Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws reports that the Nigerian striker stormed off the bus when he was told he couldn’t sit where he wanted.
Bruges manager Philippe Clement said on Monday that Dennis had been dropped on disciplinary grounds but had not elaborated on it.
The 23-year-old has been with Bruges since 2017 and scored two goals in a clash in the Champions League at Real Madrid last year.
He also scored the 2-1 win over Zenit St. Petersburg on the first day of this year’s competition.
Dortmund is at the top of the group after it was on 4. November won the first meeting between the teams 3-0.
