MasterChef fans were baffled last night after one of the four attendees mysteriously cut out the show with no explanation.

The Mystery Chef’s disappearance occurred at the beginning of the BBC1 hit when a statement appeared on the screen: “This program has been edited and includes the original four participants who participated. ‘

The announcement frenzied viewers on social media as they tried to figure out why the fourth chef had been cut out.

Some who watched the show shared what they believe gave glimpses of the mysterious chef’s neck or arms while one of the remaining three chefs cooked for Judges Gregg Wallace, Marcus Wareing, and Monica Galletti.

The missing chef, believed to be a man, was supposed to take a dreaded skill test – a fixture on the show’s first round – but only candidates were Guillame from London, Burhan from Coventry and Scott from Manchester shown. Scott was eventually sent home.

The Mystery Chef had Mr.. Wareing’s version of the French classic Crêpes Suzette was supposed to try – but the attempt was never shown among fans as speculation that it was an absolute disaster.

Viewers were looking for clues on the show and one viewer believes this is the mysterious chef’s neck. The unnamed chef was cut out with no explanation of the circumstances

A message from the program appeared on the television screens saying, ‘This program has been edited and includes the original four participants who participated. ‘

Another person commented, ‘Everyone knows why the MasterChef tonight was edited to only show three attendees ???’

Meanwhile, one fan added, ‘Come on Twitter to find out why MasterChef has been edited and I just haven’t gotten any smarter. . . ‘

One person joked, ‘I’m driving myself crazy and wonder why they cut the fourth candidate out of this episode of #Masterchef entirely. The intrigue of it all! ‘

A MasterChef spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances relating to one of our attendees, the program was edited tonight to remove their appearance. ‘

Viewers searched social media for answers to puzzle solving. One said they should know

Elsewhere, other fans joked: ‘Where is the fourth candidate? Where the crepes were under too much pressure they tossed the sauce across the room and were disqualified. Either way, I need to know. ‘

And another said, ‘The biggest drama of the year is deffo (sic) one of the candidates cut out of MasterChef. ‘

The BBC shows are currently on the 13th. Series and 32 talented chefs will try to impress judges Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace with their culinary delights.

Wareing told Radio Times ahead of the new series: “The energy during filming was so great – from the crew to the judges to the chefs, who I think they get the most out of everyone.

‘It was a relief to film again, and we were very fortunate to be able to return to an industry that was still very blocked. ‘

In 2019, Stu Deeley beat fellow finalists Exose Grant Lopo-Ndinga and Olivia Burt and was crowned the winner of MasterChef: The Professionals.
