Weltnachrichten – GB – Spoiler: Tonight’s special Emmerdale episode features tearful Rhona and Laurel scenes

After an emotional week for Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) in Emmerdale, today’s episode (11. December) The couple will make a devastating decision to end the pregnancy of their unborn child with Down syndrome.

Last night Laurel told Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) that she was pregnant and the baby had Down syndrome. Rhona told Laurel what it was like to raise Leo, but was horrified when Laurel told her she was considering ending her pregnancy.

Tonight’s special episode will be a five-hand that will focus on Laurel and Jai as they make their decision, as well as Rhona and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) pondering how lucky they are to be their son and Gabby (Rosie Bentham) when she comes to terms with Laurel, who decides to end the pregnancy.

Actress Zoe Henry recently spoke to us about Rhona’s involvement in the plot: “It gives a complete picture and balance, because in fact Laurel’s story is the exact opposite of Rhona’s story, which we played 10 years ago. You will need that to complete the picture. It would have been very strange to tell the story of Laurel and Jai without including Rhona, Marlon, and the difficult choices they made. ‘
