The late television presenter, who took her own life in February at the age of 40, appeared in the series’ Christmas special, which looked back on the 25 best performances in the show’s history.
Two of Flack’s routines from her 2014 appearance on the show were included, and hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman praised them greatly.
Some viewers of the program praised the homage to the former presenter of Love Island on social media.
“Top 25 Strictly Come Dancing dances. #carolineflack was outstanding. So sad and moving. I don’t think I’ll ever stop being sad about her death, ”one wrote on Twitter.
Another said you could « see your whole heart in these dances » and added: « Watching #CarolineFlack at the #strict Christmas special made me very emotional. ”

During the program, Flack’s Charleston to Istanbul (not Constantinople) with partner Pasha Kovalev was voted fifth best of all time by Strictly viewers, while their show dance to Angels by Robbie Williams took eighth place.
