After a failed offer to buy the Mets a few months ago, A-Rod is reportedly in the mix to buy another professional sports franchise.
According to the Athletic, Alex Rodriguez and partner Marc Lore are in negotiations to buy the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
The report says he and Lore have 30 days to work out a deal with current owner, Glen Taylor.
Together, Lore and Rodriguez made a statement where they said they are « excited about the prospect of meeting the Timberwolves organization, the talented team and their incredible fans ».
