Despite Chelsea's recent investment in goalkeepers, is the opportunity to land a world class stopper like Donnarumma too good to be turned down?

According to Eurosport’s Dean Jones, Chelsea are still very interested in Gianluigi Donnarumma as the world-class goalkeeper has so far been kept from signing a new deal.

The 22-year-old’s contract expires this summer without making specific changes to new terms as Eurosport reports that there has been some delay in terms of an agreement and the exit door has been left open.

Eurosport reports that Chelsea are considering whether or not to sign another goalkeeper this summer , with an option like Donnarumma that they’d jump on when it went public.

They repeat that a defender and a striker on the next tran sferfenster will be the priorities for Chelsea.

Jones claims for Eurosport that Donnarumma is aiming for a deal worth € 10.5m per year, which equates to € 201,000 per week. It remains to be seen if the customer would ask Mina Raiola more when Chelsea knocked.

Milan signed Donnarumma at the age of 14 who gave Rossoneri to the Italian made his debut when he was only 16 years old and has been number one on the team ever since. It would be a nightmare to lose such a talented player for nothing this summer.

Donnarumma has played 235 games for Milan, conceding 82 goals. There is simply no one else who stays anywhere close to his age group and has a similar experience at the highest level.
