Two judges of the Supreme Court of Afghanistan were shot dead by unknown assailants in Kabul.
The killings are the latest in a series of murders involving journalists, activists and other political figures.
The incident took place in the Qala-e-Fathullah area of the capital, and although the Taliban are suspected to be responsible, no group has admitted that they carried out the shooting.
The targeted killings in Afghanistan were carried out despite peace talks between the Taliban and the country’s government in Doha.
