NSW was sacked for their lowest Sheffield Shield total after a staggering collapse at Blundstone Arena.
This undesirable record is held by South Australia, who were sacked for 27 and 29 respectively in 1955 and 2004.
In the six ball era, only one other team was released faster than the 19.3 overs it took Tasmania to roll through NSW.
Opener Daniel Hughes, first drop Daniel Solway, No. 4 Kurtis Patterson and Nathan Lyon were the four NSW batsmen sacked for a duck.
Peter Nevill was the only batsman to hit double digits. He finished with 10 unbeaten runs.
