Like Cilic, he has big serve and big ground hits, with persistence and mental struggles being his falls. He seems to have it all put together and looked superb this week, convincingly beating Matthew Ebden in the quarterfinals. He enters this match as an underdog but is certainly capable of causing a stir.
I’m going with Marin Cilic to win this match. They have similar games but the gap in experience is huge and I expect him to use that to his advantage. If his level drops Popyrin can cause some problems, but trust Cilic to win here and advance to the final.
