Three people were still admitted to hospital following a fatal road accident near Namu along the Nabualu Highway around 6 p.m. yesterday.
According to the police, they were heading towards the wharf at Nabwalu Port when the mother allegedly lost control of the car, causing it to veer off the road and tripped several times.
The police said they were all taken to Nabalu Hospital, where the woman was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The nationwide death toll is currently 36, compared to 55 for the same period last year.
