Alfred Hollins, a 6-foot-6 striker who started 53 games during his career in the state of Oregon, is leaving the men’s basketball program.

Hollins only played 30 minutes and an average of 3. 7 points and 2. 0 rebounds in the Beavers’ first three games this season.

Hollins has not yet entered his name on the NCAA transfer portal, but has asked Oregon state coach Wayne Tinkle to be released.

« I will forever be grateful that I could learn what the OSU has to offer and ultimately be part of Beaver Nation, » Hollins said in a statement. “I am very happy about my new trip, which will enable me to continue my education and above all to continue my basketball career. ”

Hollins started 29 games as a junior with an average of 5. 2 points and 3. 0 rebounds one game. He started 17 games in his sophomore year and seven as a freshman. Hollins average 5. 2 points and 3. 1 is recovering from his 93-game career in Oregon State.
