World News – AU – ‘Bachelorette’ Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark on their next steps

Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark were able to meet and fall in love thanks to the Bachelorette during the coronavirus pandemic – but what happened afterwards? the show? The couple watched their relationship play out on screen, their future plans and more during their appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday.

« It was a whirlwind this whole trip was . . . I can’t even speak, I’m so excited, « enthused Tayshia. « It was really nice to look back. I feel like you can really see how much love we have and how authentic and real we were. « 

« All of the reasons I fell in love with her on the show are true today and in our daily lives, » Zac added sweetly, « so it sure was a special night, last night, to look back on it all. « 

The couple admitted that it was easier for them than other Bachelor Nation alums to keep their relationship a secret since the show aired. Tayshia noted, « Sneaking around wasn’t that difficult because there weren’t many people around. « 

« Cheers to the masks, right? » Zac joked. « That was the only good thing about it – I could put on a mask and kind of do what I want. «

The Bachelorette season finale kicked off Tuesday with three men – Zac, Ivan Hall and Ben Smith, who recently returned after being eliminated from the final four. Tayshia said goodbye to Ivan over religious differences and again eliminated Ben after meeting her family.

Tayshia was okay with Zac, and after worrying about whether she would be ready to be engaged again after the divorce, she decided to accept Zac’s suggestion.

As for wedding plans, the couple said Wednesday that they enjoy taking things slowly.

« We’re just going with the flow at the moment, » said Tayshia. « We’re just going to meet. . . We have a lot of fun plans. « 

« I want to go out with you and take you out, » Zac agreed, though he admitted, « I want a big wedding when the day comes. She might think differently and she’ll get what she wants, but I [want a big wedding]. «

The couple said they will be spending Christmas in New York, where Zac is from, but Tayshia – a native of Orange County, California – plans to stay « bicoastal » for now. « I will have my place here, but I look forward to spending some time with him in New York. « 

As they are dealing with the pandemic, Zac said he was « introduced to Pinterest. « 

« I did a little scavenger hunt which was a hit, » he added. « We had her sing songs and stuff – she has some other talents that I think the world doesn’t even know. « 

The couple couldn’t have looked more in love and joked during a lightning-fast round of questions about how Zac is the biggest fool, Tayshia the messiest and her nicknames « Clarky » and « The Queen ». As for Pet Peeves, it appears that Zac is struggling to finish his sentences by taking ‘the Clarky hiatus’ Tayshia has a hard time finishing a drink.
