It’s project manager Carrie Bickmore like you’ve never seen her – she admits she’s trying to be « a little more carefree ». at 40.
Carrie Bickmore reveals more about how she deals with age and her body as she gets older.
The project star and mother of three, who turned 40 in early December, told the publication that she’s been trying to be « a little more carefree » lately after she recently cut her hair and got her first tattoo got.
« I don’t throw caution to the wind very often and I would like to do that a little more, » she said.
Gold Logie winner, who lost her husband Greg Lange after a decade battle with brain cancer in 2010, said she was approaching life in her forties with a new mindset.
« In my 20s, when everyone around me was pretty carefree, I felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders, » she told Stellar.
« I grew up faster than most people. I already had one child in my 30s and had two more much later. As my career and family life build, I view all of my 30s as exhaustion. Now I just have to take a few more risks, be a little more carefree, and see where life takes me. ”

« She asked me how I felt getting to 40. I said, « I don’t have a midlife crisis! » Bickmore recalled with a laugh.
« I’ve been in lockdown just long enough that I was glad to be released so I could do a few things. ”
Bickmore, who is now married to producer Chris Walker, 39, has three children after meeting at The Project: Oliver, 13, Evie (5) and Adelaide (2).
« Addie has a ton of words, but she is an absolute shock when it comes to sleep. We joked that we might have to drag a bed into her room permanently. Right now we’re sleeping on pillows on the floor and it doesn’t help any of our osteo-bills. ”
Of her relationship with Walker, the television personality loved said: « He’s such a good sounding board, always has good advice, and is always encouraging. I know he has my back which is a great feeling. ”
