Kyrie Irving has ruffled a lot of feathers in the past few weeks by failing to meet his obligations to speak to the media during Nets Media Week. He also called media members « farmers » after being fined 25. $ 000 was levied for media avoidance.

Ouch. That is certainly devastating of Barkley. He’s visibly upset about Irving’s recent actions. And it’s probably going a little too far.
Yes, on the one hand, Irving’s actions this season have been ridiculous. On the other hand, it’s understandable why Irving would try to dodge the media after being labeled a disruptor and agitator last summer for speaking out against the return of the NBA in the middle of a social justice riot.
This is what Irving’s critics – including Barkley – should remember before getting too hard on him.
