Doctor Who viewers saw The Doctor (played by Jodie Whittaker) was in danger after being taken to a space prison at the end of last season. Now that viewers can discover their fate in just a few days, that’s not the only thing they will keep an eye on when two of their loyal companions are about to leave the BBC drama. And Ryan star Tosin Cole has admitted that the final scenes for the film were « emotional ».
Fans will see The Doctor and her three companions return on New Years Day: Yaz (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Graham (Bradley Walsh).
It will be a dramatic watch as it is not yet known whether The Doctor will manage to escape jail time.
Fortunately, someone will be on hand to correct the situation as Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) defiantly returns.
But there will be a couple of exits that viewers will surely care about.

Ryan and Graham will both end their time with The Doctor after two series. « .
It is not known if Ryan and Graham will survive or if there will be a really heartbreaking outcome.
Previously, Ryan star Tosin talked about things that come to an « emotional » end on New Year’s Day.
When asked what it was like to finish shooting, he said, “Emotional! I was looking forward to a break though!
The actor stated why his character may be leaving the show after becoming more hesitant in season 12.
“He has learned a lot from his time with the crew and is now more confident and self-sufficient than ever before. ”
Last season, the character debated whether to continue his journey with The Doctor after meeting an old friend.

Maybe the time outside of The Doctor will give him the wake up call he needs to find out what’s more important in his life.
It comes after Jodie Whittaker spoke to Bradley and Tosin about « very sad » closing scenes.
She said of the outgoing duo: « Both had to carry me to my caravan, I haven’t cried in so long!
« Brad couldn’t handle it at all. And Tosin said, « I really can’t stand you being so upset. « . I was like ‘waah, waah waah. ’”
Actress Mandip spoke about the decision of her character after she “fought” without the time lord: “She has a connection to the doctor and to space.
« She loves being in Sheffield, but space and the doctor just have something that has not yet been fulfilled.
« You will see that Yaz is just a little more urgent when he’s trying to find the doctor – the boys are lazy, » she told Radio Times.
