New Zealand actor Mick Innes, who starred in Home and Away, has died at the age of 67.

He died early Saturday morning at his family home in Christchurch after battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – a long-running lung disease.

In addition to appearing on television shows, Innes was a well-known stage actor, leaving behind three children.

The veteran actor appeared in several episodes of the Australian hit show as « Rod » and in the New Zealand comedy series « Hounds ».
