Kyly Clarke and James Courtney reportedly set the time for their romance just weeks after going public.

The couple only confirmed their relationship six weeks ago, but the flame between the V8 supercar driver and the former WAG appears to have been extinguished.

A close friend of the couple confirmed the split from The Sunday Telegraph, saying that their love couldn’t stand the distance.

Clarke is based in Sydney while Courtney is in Queensland. It is even more difficult for the couple to see each other due to travel restrictions related to COVID-19.

Clarke added fuel to the rumors when she posted a video track page on her Instagram story.

« And that’s just how the weekend starts, » she said, referring to the Bathurst 1000 that Courtney rode in as part of the Tickford Boost Mobile team.

Clarke, 39, split from Australian cricket legend Michael Clarke last year, and the two still see each other through their young daughter.

It’s not the first time Courtney and Clarke have said goodbye to the couple who first met 20 years ago.

Friends close to childhood loved ones said they closed the loop after reconnecting on social media a few months ago.

But fans didn’t see the breakup after Clarke took to her Instagram three weeks ago to share a happy snap with her new husband. She wrote « so many reasons to smile » and even gave the followers a pair name to send – « Jaly ».

Clarke was the first to make Instagram official after taking a loved selfie of her stories for her 70s. 000 followers shared.

Both Clarke and Courtney shared the picture, but he went a step further and confirmed it was an item.

« Quarantine wasn’t bad, » he wrote next to a winking emoji as he tagged his new partner.
