Rory McIlroy knows he’s better than everyone else, and has used some advice from the Golden Bear to win his first major title, the 2011 US Open with eight hits after just 10 weeks of leading four shots at the Masters.
“It’s like you were told not to be this way, but I just felt like I needed to be a little cocky and put more pressure on myself to win because I felt like I had it in Congress nine years ago,” Jack McIlroy said to me. To pressure yourself because if you don’t, nobody will do it. ”

« It’s not that easy. There is a lot of pressure that comes with it. She’s out there with one of the greatest trophies in sport. It’s the history of everything that comes with winning this green jacket. It’s huge. You don’t attend and only win.
“Rory was apparently not so lucky he had a weak back nine in 2011, and maybe the pressure has been on him over the years thinking he might win one This will likely be the first year that not many people will talk about much.

“I clearly love the place,” he said “I think it’s a great place to go and play golf, but like I said, I haven’t really had any success there.
“I hope that change this time of year brings about something different to me this year Maybe something might change this year”
