Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has revealed that he has heard exciting things about Xherdan Shaqiri from « a few people ».
The Swiss international is currently on the verge of a muscle problem that he picked up in international service. In fact, Reds boss Jürgen Klopp announced that nobody in the club had known about the topic for some time.
However, the 29-year-old had previously looked excitingly sharp and scored one goal and one assist in five games. But his form started to look promising after his injury battles last season.
Murphy has now said that he expects Shaqiri to have a major impact when he returns from his absence.
