Kmart is bringing Black Friday back for the second straight year – and there’s one point in particular that shoppers are dying to get their hands on.

The discount department store will be launching Bright Friday – its version of Black Friday – starting this Friday with a select selection of heavily discounted or limited items.

Bright Friday items are available while supplies last until Sunday. However, judging by the excitement online, the demand for a particular product will be high.

Kmart is bringing back its hugely popular egg-shaped chair, with variations on the popular piece of furniture sold out almost instantly.

This year’s $ 199 Bright Friday version features cream-colored pillows and rattan in a chic brown finish, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor living spaces.

Posts about the chair have already been published in various Kmart Facebook groups. The fans said their « backyard needs this ». .

« Need this in my life » commented one person while another person said they would get it as a « Christmas present for me ». .

But others warned the chair was likely to sell out « super fast », like the other Kmart Bright Friday deals.

Others loved Kmart’s other Bright Friday deals, which include a SodaKING maker that was cut from $ 69. $ 95 to $ 27, a Hollywood light mirror for $ 69, and a $ 49 sewing machine.

« That could be dangerous, » wrote one person on Facebook, while another joked: « I think I’m just getting my pants wet with excitement, I can’t wait !!!!!! » But some said they would « not even try to go », claiming their local Kmart likely ran out of stock.

Kmart encourages customers to shop online when they can. Customers can also book a shopping spot during peak times to avoid queues.

There will also be expanded trading houses in stores in NSW and Victoria, as well as mobile checkouts so customers can pay for their goods faster.

Callum Smith, Kmart’s General Merchandise General Manager, said when it came to Bright Friday, « Once they’re gone, they’re gone. « .

“Black Friday was incredibly popular last year and was well received by our loyal customers. As a team, we gained some insights from the event and understood what types of products our customers love. We can’t wait for our customers to see what’s on offer this year, ”he said.

« Some of last year’s most popular favorites have returned with a new twist and completely new lines that have never been seen before. ”
