Around 1 a.m. (Thursday, 31. Rescue services were called to a house on Purser Avenue, Castle Hill, by seven men – armed with ax, knife, hammer and gun – entered the house and threatened the occupants.
Police were told that the group had requested property from the six people inside before stabbing an 18-year-old man in the stomach several times.
A seventh inmate, a 17-year-old boy, was in the back yard at the time and was hit on the head with a hammer.
The group stole six cell phones before further damaging the house and driving away in an unspecified vehicle.
The injured men were treated on site by paramedics from NSW Ambulance before they were taken to Westmead Hospital.
Officials from the Hills Police District set up a crime scene before raiding the area with assistance from the Dog Unit and PolAir.
Detectives would like to speak to seven men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
