“Erebus Motorsport regrets to announce that former Bathurst winner David Reynolds will no longer lead the team in 2021.

Team owner Betty Klimenko said it was unfortunate that both parties could not continue together but wished Reynolds all the best in securing his future.

Reynolds said leaving Erebus was a tough decision after helping the aspiring team over the past five years since moving from Mercedes.

« I preferred to stay with Erebus but unfortunately it’s time for me to move on, » said Reynolds.

“I really enjoyed my time with the team and it was a very difficult decision to leave the team.

“The team is made up of a fantastic group of people who I’ve built very close relationships with over the past five years, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. ”

Coulthard is a proven winner with 13 career race wins, five with Brad Jones Racing between 2012 and 2015 and eight during his five-year campaign with Dick Johnson Racing.
