What’s next? A student’s ATAR is a good indicator of whether they will be able to get started on their preferred university course, and for some students, the score they received may mean they decide to reconsider their course preferences.

Some students are already responding to social media, although I’m afraid I can’t post updates on the blog right now as I haven’t found one with family friendly language yet.

More than 46. 000 students will shortly receive their four-digit ATAR and their detailed VCE results.

This year 98. 3 percent of the students successfully completed their VCE, a slight increase of 98. 1 percent last year.

The average ATAR of all students was 68. 14, and there were 38 students who got an ATAR of 99. 95, the highest possible rank.

Female students, on average, had a slightly higher score than their male counterparts – the average ATAR for women was 69. 45, while for men it was 66. 60.

But men dominated those who achieved the highest possible rank – out of the 38 students who got an ATAR of 99. 95, 32 were male.

A total of 14. 215 students received a grade of 40 or more in at least one subject, placing them in the top 9 percent in the state.

Study results are of 50 and are given to students for each subject completed. These study results are among the data points used to calculate your ATAR.

In about 20 minutes you can do more than 46. 000 VCE students can display their four-digit ATAR and their detailed subject results.

The above are shared services that serve your VCE results from VCAA and your ATAR from VTAC. If your school has an email address on record for you, you will also receive your VCE (but not ATAR) results via email.

If you access your results online or via the Results and ATAR App, you will need your VCE student number and the password of the results service.
