After being closed for months, Victoria’s three zoos are gearing up to reopen in days and a’ baby boom ‘ready to be visited

As new restrictions begin to ease statewide, the Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary will all open on Thursday with strict visitor limits

All interior areas of the zoos will remain closed, but shops will operate for cashless purchases and take out

Melbourne Zoo can accommodate 2,500 visitors per day and Healesville Sanctuary and Werribee Open Range Zoo can accommodate 1,500 each

To meet expected demand, Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo will also be offering evening sessions, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting November 6
