Alexander Ludwig just surprised many of his fans after announcing that he was eloping to get married!
The Viking star tied the knot with girlfriend Lauren Dear after a New Years trip to Utah.
Alexander announced that their wedding ceremony was very small, only a photographer, an officer and their dog Yam as witnesses.
« We decided to flee, » Alexander explained on Instagram. “It’s been such a crazy year, but it definitely put things into perspective. Life is too short And I didn’t want to go another day without calling this beautiful woman my wife. ”
He added: “Of course, when things calm down, we’ll have a decent party with our friends and family, but right now the love of my life, our dog Yam, sounded like a yurt on a mountain top in the middle of nowhere like the perfect start. ”
“The last year has been full of uncertainty and doubt, but this has been the easiest decision of my life. I think we’ve all learned in one way or another to look inside ourselves and see what makes us really happy, ”she wrote. “Until 2020 thanks for bringing this guy into my life. I will love you forever @alexanderludwig. They continue to show me what life is really about every day and how to be strong, resilient and courageous. I am a better person by your side. 👰🏻♀️🤵🏼♂️ ”
Alexander and Lauren didn’t announce their engagement until November when they showed off their sparkly ring in a cute picture together.
