A bushfire burning south of Perth is viewed as a potential threat to homes and people in the area when a watch and action warning is in place.
Emergency WA says the fire is burning towards Maranup and Nannup and conditions in the area are changing.
It has already destroyed about 80 acres of undergrowth when the fire department works to get it under control.
The fire was first reported early Thursday morning, but the cause has not been determined.
