World News – AU – Your first look at Zack Snyder’s additional Justice League set is here

Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner recently posted a mysterious behind-the-scenes photo to his Instagram account that showed a set of blue screens on a soundstage

With the Snyder Cut being added to photography and the fact that Wagner will be returning as cinematographer for the director’s new version of the superhero team, there’s no leap in assuming that this is from Zack Snyder’s set Wagner’s IMDb page also states that Snyder Cut and Monster Butler are his only two upcoming projects – and Monster Butler is still in pre-production, while the Snyder Cut is in post Watch the picture (Hat tip ComicBookcom) below

While the image isn’t overly revealing, the blue screens (and Wagner’s #vfx tag) hint at heavy VFX work on the horizon.This makes sense, given that much visual effects made for Snyder’s Justice League appear to be different from the theatrical version, as we can already see in the DC FanDome teaser alone The director himself recently shared a photo of Steppenwolf’s new look, revealing a digital design overhaul that restored the villain’s sharper look from the Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The Snyder Cut is coming to HBO Max sometime in 2021, as a miniseries rather than a movie It also has a big budget – $ 70 million reported Bob Greenblatt, former director of HBO Max, told VOX’s Recode Media podcast in May of that hefty sum: «  It’s not as easy as going into the vault and there’s a Snyder Cut sitting there turning it off. It doesn’t exist Zack is building it and it’s complex including… new VFX shots It’s a drastic overhaul of this movie and it’s complicated and extremely expensive… I will just say I would love to let it be only $ 30 million and I stop there It’s a huge and very complex business «
