Missing man Robert Weber was found on an estate near Kilkivan three days after the search was abandoned.
Mr Weber was found by an owner near a dam at around 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The 58-year-old had been missing since January 6 and was last seen leaving a hotel in Kilkivan with his dog.
Police said Mr Weber’s car got stuck on an unfamiliar street.
« He stayed in his car with his dog for three days before he ran out of water, » police said.
« He walked and got lost and stayed on a dam where he survived by sleeping on the ground, drinking dam water and eating mushrooms.
