This probably shouldn’t come as a big surprise given the involvement of his good buddy Sam Raimi, but it seems Bruce Campbell is on his way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the Star Evil Dead apparently making an appearance on Doctor Strange and the Multiverse by confirms insanity.
Campbell posted a photo of the London skyline on Twitter last week and commented, “Boy, it was a great time in a certain city with a certain director on a certain movie with a certain one Acting. ”
Boy, it was a great time working in a particular city with a particular director on a particular film with a particular actor – for sure it was! pic.twitter.com/1q8pga0Miu
As we noted at the beginning, a Campbell cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is certainly not unexpected, as it is in most of Raimi’s films, including the original Spider-Man Trilogy, can be seen. Campbell has also been rumored to be standing in line to play Mysterio in the abandoned Spider-Man 4, though he shot down those claims when speaking to us in 2019:
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be from Sam Raimi and the stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Rachel McAdams (Christine Palmer), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) staged Xochitl Gomez (The Babysitter Club) as America Chavez.
