Why are you waiting for Black Friday? Sales have already started on nearly all of our favorite Roku, Fire TV, and Chromecast devices, and we’ve got it all together here. This page brings together the best deals on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and elsewhere. Several of these sales were announced as of November. 22 to 25, but almost all of them seem to be alive. Highlights:
In fact, we got to Roku, or Chromecast with Google TV, before the Fire Stick, but Amazon’s live streaming deals have been pretty good lately, and HBO Max is finally coming to the platform.. The great idea here is that all of these devices are at low prices or close at all times, which is a very great way to upgrade your old TVs to the latest streaming platforms.. .

The Roku Streaming Stick Plus 4K is our favorite streaming device, and at only $ 30 it will be untouchable for value for money. Stick provides hundreds of apps, an excellent Roku interface, and a powerful remote to control volume.

It’s not the 2020 model like the two above but this is still the best deal. It’s the only Fire stick with the ability to play 4K HDR video, and at only $ 2 more than the standard non-4K stick, it’s well worth the investment even if you don’t already have a 4K TV..

Google’s new Chromecast with Google TV has a lot to like, including a revamped interface, 4K HDR with Dolby Vision support, true remote control and excellent Google Assistant integration. In an exclusive deal from the Google Store, the search giant bundles a $ 50 live streaming device with six months of Netflix’s standard plan for $ 90. The deal is available to new and existing Netflix subscribers.

The 2019 Roku SE is an abstract Roku SE that can handle all of your streaming needs. It’s not as fast as the Streaming Stick Plus and doesn’t include the Roku’s most useful enhanced remote control (which has a microphone for voice control and doesn’t require you to point directly to the TV). It also lacks 4K support and new features like AirPlay. However, it is only $ 17 and should be fine for basic streaming.
The SE is pretty much the same as the $ 25 Roku Express other than white.
The important thing missing about the Fire TV Stick Lite is the remote control that controls the TV’s power and volume. The 2020 Fire TV Stick has this remote, and for Black Friday sale on Amazon, it will drop from $ 40 to $ 28.. But unless you really want to save two bucks, you should get the Fire TV Stick 4K (below) instead, which adds support for 4K TV resolution to the mix..

Last month we saw a lot of deals on the expired Roku Ultra, but the 2020 model barely expired and actually discounted. From what we’ve seen it’s a significant upgrade – with Dolby Vision and better wireless performance – and at $ 70, it’s a pretty nice deal..

Fire TV Cube combines an Alexa volume-controlled speaker, Fire TV 4K video streaming device, and universal remote in one device. If you want to use your voice to control the TV – not to mention other devices in your Alexa-friendly home – it might be worth taking the lead on this interesting all-in-one product, which has been reduced from $ 120 to $ 80.. Note that this is the newest version (2019), which has added some great improvements since we first evaluated it in 2018..

Like the Roku Ultra, Streambar appeared about 10 seconds ago and is also getting a health discount. For the same price as Ultra on a regular day, Streambar mixes a capable 4K streamer with an enhanced audio bar for dialogue. It even casts bluetooth for good measure.

The Roku Premiere is a 4K streaming device released in 2018. It has since been overlooked in terms of features by newer devices – it doesn’t have HDR for example – but at only $ 25 it’s worth a look..

Do you want a Chromecast but don’t care about the new Google TV software or the remote? Previous Google Chromecast will drop to $ 19 at Walmart for Black Friday. This appears to be the regular Chromecast – not the 4K-enabled Chromecast Ultra – but if you don’t mind running apps from your phone, tablet, or computer, this is a good and cheap choice.. Oh, and $ 5 in Vudu credit included, too.

The Roku Exclusive Edition from Ultra for Walmart has dropped to $ 48. While it’s the 2019 version, it usually retails for $ 79 and it’s a Roku box that’s capable of bundling 4K HDR support, an Ethernet jack and includes a remote with a headphone jack for private listening.. While a lot like the main Ultra, unfortunately, the Ultra LT drops the remote finder feature and programmable keys on the remote control.. Read our comparison of the other Ultra LT and Rokus.
