Brexit supporters have been enraged by a petition to force the Prime Minister to extend the transition period by one year, as thousands of signatories say the COVID crisis is reason enough to ask for more time in the EU
Online petition aims to collect 100,000 signatures to push the government to demand an extension and hold a referendum on any trade deal
