Although the health unit says there is no evidence of COVID-19 spreading in any school or childcare environment, local cases across Gray Bros. have doubled since the start of September..
There were four cases in Gray Bros, and two in Gray Highlands, with individual cases confirmed in Huron Kinloss, Southgate, West Gray, Aran-Eldersley and Kincardin..
The health unit advised the community in late October that there was a cluster on the South Bruce Peninsula, as some of the seven confirmed cases involved did not have adequate safety measures.. .
Earlier, the health unit reported about 120 cases in early September. By Monday, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases had reached 224.
There are currently 33 active cases in Gray Bros, compared to only 1 active case in September. 3.
The health unit advised the public earlier this month for a Halloween party in Dundalk, as a person infected with the virus may have revealed others..
So far, no one has died from COVID-19 in Gray Bros, and there is currently no hospital resident. Simco Mo
