Friday November 6, 2020: Today on The Young and the Restless, Billy and Lily’s flirtation is noticed, Victoria hatches a plot against Adam, and Amanda and Devon hook up
Billy joins Amanda and Lily at Chance Comm He brought back Lily’s favorite lightning bolt from a distant store Amanda comes out and Lily asks him to go out of her way to get her a treat – people will notice and talk Billy is indifferent and wonders if she regrets the kiss Lily just wants to keep it professional Billy cheekily agrees not to flirt Lily goes out with his lightning bolt and he watches her take a bite
Victor arrives at Newman Enterprises and the subject of Chelsea upon seeing Johnny arises Victoria declares that it is out of the question and adds: « Besides, Chelsea is gone » Victor fears that Adam is up to something and wants the family get together, like an intervention, and hold hands Nick appears “Please tell me you’re kidding,” he mocks Victor pushes to keep Adam close so they know what he does, and insists they have to help him Nick doesn’t care what he needs and is surprised to learn that Chelsea is gone Victor insists they work together to contain Adam Victoria decides he has a point – Adam tries to pit them against each other so they have to present a united front Victor goes looking for Adam Nick asks Victoria what she is doing She is setting a trap for their brother Victoria will call her bluff to about wanting to cut ties with the family by demanding that he renounce all rights to inheritance tage of Newman and Victor She will draft a document and challenge him to sign it Nick warns that this will infuriate Victor and could backfire on you Victoria doesn’t back down Nick wonders if this is calling Adam’s bluff or Victor’s. She replies: « Why not both? » After arranging the documentation, Nick again warns Victoria about Victor She says this time he will have to choose a side
In the dark room where she is being held, Chelsea walks up and thinks she hears Adam calling her by name. She dreams of him holding the key to the kingdom and laughing: « They said I was a monster They had right! She leaps up, then collapses again when she tries to get up Waking up again she imagines Billy is there telling her that Adam ravishing her worked out well for him and Victoria « It takes you away from Johnny « Chelsea protests as Billy reminds her that she is a con artist who met a sociopath Billy laughs, » It’s the end of the road for you, Chelsea « Her two boys will be raised to despise her Chelsea screams and the mirage disappears She takes a metal slat from the bed frame and tries to open the door
At Society, Abby has a business proposal for Devon but first wants to know how he’s doing He asks about her and Chance and she admits things couldn’t be better She keeps finding someone in who she can trust, then apologizes Devon reassures her, so she continues that all they seem to be talking about is having kids and a future Devon is thrilled to have found true love The conversation turns to Dina and Katherine, then Devon receives a text from Amanda Abby knowingly nods They discuss Abby wanting to set up a program to find a job for at-risk youth Devon is on board but is eager to go there He tells Abby that in some ways being with Amanda is heartwarming and reminds her of the best days of her life.
At Crimson Lights, Adam tells Sharon he hears congratulations on her engagement and apologizes if he makes her uncomfortable He reports he had a revelation Sharon wants details Adam intends to break free Faith appears and panics « Why don’t you leave us alone ?! » She denounces Adam about his misdeeds while he tries to explain Sharon orders Faith to enter the office, but she refuses and storms out Sharon tells Adam that Faith has been in turmoil since the article and the reprimands for blaming him on Victoria Rey enters and Sharon fills him on Faith who runs away Adam goes Rey is about to question Sharon when Chance arrives and takes him aside to say Chelsea has disappeared Asked about Adam, Sharon proposes that he wanted to cut ties and start over with a blank slate Later she leaves Faith a voicemail to call her Rey is glad she held her place, but Sharon fears she is so upset
Billy, Lily and Amanda reunite at Chance Comm after a deal Amanda takes in their mutual admiration and suggests they go celebrate Once Alone Billy tells Lily that she is totally over them
In Grand Phoenix, Amanda informs Devon that she is going to Evanston to get in touch with Nadine, Rose’s neighbor.He asks her to keep him posted and is happy to be distracted from Nate and Elena Amanda points out that her sister-in-law is her family Devon is happy to be able to count on each other and thinks Hilary would like
At the park, Jordan meets Faith and apologizes for the bully who called her a loser Faith shares that she kissed her uncle in Crimson Lights and that her heart is still racing Jordan has something that could help…
At the penthouse, Adam takes a call from Victor who wants to meet at Newman Towers tonight Adam accepts as young Adam shakes his head in disgust
