World News – CA – Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian: Why Fans Wanted Sebastian Stan, Not Mark Hamill and Max Lloyd-Jones Combo

. .

The Mandalorian dropped a massive bomb in the last few moments this week. And that bomb – ladies and gentlemen – was the arrival of Luke Skywalker to save the day.

The ending was a giant near a stellar season that raises a lot of questions about what Season 3 could be. Especially because the entire show depends on Mando and Baby Yoda’s relationship.

But fans have been pretty open about the execution of Luke Skywalker’s appearance on The Mandalorian. This is similar to Twitter’s attempt to cancel Baby Yoda.

Why are you calling for Sebastian Stan as Luke Skywalker? Why are they upset about using Mark Hamill and Max Lloyd-Jones? Here’s what you should know about the reaction to The Mandalorian season two finale.

It was a long internet request that Sebastian Stan play the character of Luke Skywalker. Mainly because because of their facial similarities, fans want to believe they are doppelgangers.

For example, this tweet dates back well into June, well before The Mandalorian season two finale.

The actual episode didn’t include Stan, but instead chose the body of Max Lloyd-Jones with the image of the young Mark Hamill above his face. It basically left the impression of a really well-done deepfake.

Unfortunately the reactions are on point. As amazing as it is to see young Luke on the show, the cameo felt soulless at best. The character was there, of course. But the personality felt rightly artificial – because it was artificial.

There were a lot of spoilers on Twitter after the episode premiered. The response was so overwhelming that users turned Luke Skywalker into a trend in the middle of the night.

But like I said, a lot of fans went on the platform and expressed their wish that The Winter Soldier himself would take on the role instead of the fake Luke Skywalker.

But in the future, I suggest that you kidnap his loved ones and then blackmail the method straight from Sebastian Stan’s acting. picture. Twitter. com / a9i2grtUN1

However, not all tweets were outraged by the election. Some were really moved by the experience, including Kevin Smith, who had a lot to say. As readers can see, the finale made Kevin Smith cry.

Far too early to turn my eyes off, but holy Sith, this @themandalorian season finale was like seeing my life flash before my eyes! @ Jon_Favreau has the biggest balls in the business with this incredible flex in act three! For me the most positive moment of 2020! picture. Twitter. com / 3kdTKgFp2S

Notwithstanding the absence of Sebastian Stan, Smith is right in choosing to include Luke as a bold choice. In fact, the entire finale is brave as Luke takes Baby Yoda away from the central story.

What does this mean for the third season of The Mandalorian? Only time can tell. But it will be difficult not to have Grogu / Baby Yoda for the next chapter.
