World news – CA – Mad Bets: UFC Moraes vs Sandhagen betting odds

Minty Bets is joined by Kevin Iole to preview the fight between Marlon Moraes vs Cory Sandhagen on Saturday October 10th from Fight Island

The main event of UFC Fight Island 4 was a masterful performance from Holly Holm, who wants to get another title shot. With the type of performance she had beating Irene Aldana, she shouldn’t be too far from the track

Both being strong attackers, it took a while for either woman to find her rhythm as the fight began Holm was the first to land big punches, sticking her double left hand on multiple occasions Aldana countered on occasion, but it was Holm who did more damage and frequently ended the combination with a kick

Moving away from Aldana, Holm landed some solid side kicks in the midsection before briefly taking Aldana to the canvas Aldana bounced to her feet, but Holm stayed on top of her and shot her a second time before the end of the round

Aldana opened with a solid kick and right-handed block in the second round, but Holm continued his combinations, which kept Aldana defensive and in deficit

Aldana started looking a little puzzled in the middle of the second frame Holm continued to spin around, then dive in with her punches and stick her with her sidekick

Late in the round, Holm threw a punch to set up a clinch and took Aldana to the canvas again Holm couldn’t pass the guard, so she unleashed a few punches on Aldana before handing over the standing fight She then continued blistering Aldana with coveralls and that nasty sidekick

Holm started quickly in third frame, continuing to pepper Aldana with punch combinations and sidekicks. But Aldana finally started to step forward and attack Just when she seemed to be gaining momentum, Holm took her down and tripped him to the ground

Working from side control, Holm shifted to the full mount Aldana tried to push her back, but Holm straightened up and dropped many punches and elbows Aldana eventually knocked her off the mount, but Holm l ‘struck several times before the fight returned to the feet

It was an important moment for Aldana to survive that horrible position on the pitch, but it wasn’t enough to reverse the fight. She used to keep pushing forward when they got back on their feet, but she still struggled to get to the former champion to do damage

Knowing that she needed to do something to change the trajectory of the fight, Aldana continued to push forward in the fourth round, but Holm cornered her with the jab. then the companion and then the right hand

Every time Aldana pressed and landed a solid punch, she ate two, three, four punches from Holm

Aldana stepped forward again, and again Holm took her to the canvas They didn’t stay there long, but it was obvious Holm got the fight back where she wanted it This is where she could continue to stick Aldana with punches and kicks, just passing her

Although Holm’s nose spilled blood at the start of the last frame, she kept up her frantic pace, pulling away from Aldana, then popping her with the jab and her sidekick. Aldana kept running, kept trying to land something, anything, but she couldn’t handle Holm’s pace and performance.

Holm continued to stick her and landed another strikeout with about a minute left in the fight Aldana got to her feet, but ate a kick to the face as she regained her footing Holm smelled blood and grabbed Aldana with several more punches, screaming as she attacked, punching Aldana all the way to the final horn

Even though she looked as strong as ever in the win, Holm insisted she still had a lot to learn and refused to call her next opponent.

“There are some things I have to learn obviously, but I always like to say that I like to learn from my wins, not my losses,” said Holm at the Octagon center.

“When I got to MMA I didn’t come to be a boxer in an octagon I became a mixed martial artist and it took a while I didn’t start any fights until about four weeks before my first fight in MMA So I’m still very green and I’m still learning So I just want to put it all together  »

de Castro continued his attack, but was put on the fence Felipe, similar to de Castro earlier in the round, lost the advantage after the referee separated them because his fingers were in the cage
