MediaTek MT6893, Dimensity 1000 and Snapdragon 865 were shown in a side-by-side comparison of benchmark results, and the results are damn impressive. The MediaTek MT6893 and the Snapdragon 865 SoC appeared to be on par. The Density 1000 is far behind, however. The MediaTek MT6893 (6 nm) manufacturing process is ahead of the Snapdragon 865 (7 nm), but Qualcomm’s SoC still manages to stay in the running. However, the final version of the MediaTek MT6893 will likely beat the Snapdragon 865 SoC.
In the single-core test, the MT6893 and SD865 achieved 886 points and the Density 1000 achieved 765 points. In the multi-core test, however, the MT6893 achieved 2948 points, the SD865 3104 points and the Density 2874 points.
According to a Geekbench test, the MediaTek model’s 5G chip is MT689X and has an ARM Cortex-A78 core design. The highest frequency of the central core is 3. 0 GHz, and it is made by TSMC 6nm. However, its biggest competitor is the Samsung Exynos 1080 processor, which uses Samsung’s latest 5nm process. But a 2 is also used. 8 GHz Cortex-A78 core. It also has three 2. 6 GHz Cortex-A78 body and four efficient 2. 0 GHz Cortex-A55 core composition.
According to sources, the MT689X will be released before the end of this year. Of course, a Chinese manufacturer will likely bring this chip to market. Xiaomi devices will most likely have this chipset.
